Itinerary

  • Today is your day to arrive. Please aim to arrive by midday at your hotel.

    Once you have arrived you will experience Buggy Riding just near to the boarder of Poland.

    Meals: N/A

  • Adventure hiking in Slovak Paradise National Park – all day hike – waterfalls, gorges, dramatic viewpoints,  climbing ladders 

    You will be hiking all day and whilst the trek is designed for beginner hikers its important you are comfortable with heights

  • Tatra Mountains National Park Hike – Greenest Lake in Slovakia, optional thermal water park and spa visit  in the late afternoon/evening.

  • Pick your activity:  

    1. Bear watching activity – leave at 4.00am and come back at around midday, relax for the rest of the day 2. Tatra Mountains National Park Waterfalls Hike – 600 meters elevation – 6.5 hours – 14km, optional cable cars

  • Sadly, this marks the end of our adventure in Slovakia. Depart after breakfast or get in touch of you wish to extend your stay.

  • Is this trip just hiking?

    No it’s a multi-activity adventure. You’ll hike scenic ridge lines, drive ATVs, explore mountain villages, and optionally go bear-watching. It’s active, but varied.

    Do I need to be very fit?

    A moderate level of fitness is ideal. Most days involve 3–5 hours of activity, but there’s plenty of downtime and no altitude to worry about.

    What’s the accommodation like?

    You’ll stay in a charming guesthouse in the Low Tatras, with twin rooms and en-suite bathrooms. It’s cosy, local, and perfectly located for the adventure.

    Is everything guided?

    Yes all activities are led by experienced local guides. You’ll also be accompanied by your Ultimate Adventure Travel trip leader throughout.

    Are meals included?

    Breakfast is included daily, plus select lunches and dinners (as noted in the itinerary). The rest gives you the chance to try local Slovak cuisine.
