One trek. All the legends. This is the most complete Everest Region adventure on the map.

This 19-day epic doesn’t just take you to Everest Base Camp, it goes beyond. You’ll follow the footsteps of mountaineering legends to Base Camp itself, climb the iconic Kalapatthar for the best views of Everest, cross the high-altitude Cho La Pass, and stand by the turquoise glacial lakes of Gokyo, one of the most surreal landscapes on Earth.

Starting in bustling Kathmandu, you’ll head off the beaten path with a small group and expert guides who know these mountains like home. We’ve built in time for acclimatisation, exploration, and meaningful moments — not just checkpoints.

Unlike most treks, this itinerary includes all your mountain meals, a free rental of high-altitude gear (sleeping bag, down jacket, liner), and supplementary oxygen should it be needed. You’ll also enjoy private road transfers to and from Ramechhap- skipping the chaotic shared buses used by most other operators.

By the time you cross the legendary Cho La Pass and step onto the shores of Gokyo’s shimmering lakes, you’ll realise this isn’t just a trek — it’s a transformational experience.

This route is for those who want more than just Everest Base Camp. You’ll feel the altitude, but you’ll also feel the awe — in every single step.

Itinerary:

  • Touch down in the Himalayan capital! Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, you’ll be met by our local team and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. After checking in, you’ll have time to freshen up before we head out for a group welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant. It’s the perfect way to meet your fellow trekkers and your guide while enjoying local delicacies and soaking in the buzz of this legendary mountain gateway.

    Meals Included: Dinner

  • After breakfast, we leave the city behind and make the drive to Ramechhap, the airstrip serving flights into the Khumbu region. The journey takes around 5–6 hours and winds through beautiful rural Nepal — expect terraced fields, river valleys, and authentic village life. We’ll overnight in a guesthouse near the airport to be ready for tomorrow’s early departure to Lukla.

    Meals Included: Breakfast

  • We rise early for the thrilling flight to Lukla — a short but unforgettable hop into the mountains. After meeting our porters and loading up the gear, we begin our trek along the Dudh Kosi River. The route follows well-marked trails through Sherpa villages and pine forests to the riverside village of Phakding, where we stay the night.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • We continue upstream, crossing suspension bridges and passing through small settlements as we climb steadily towards the gateway to Everest — Namche Bazaar. After entering Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, we cross the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge and tackle a final steep ascent. On a clear day, you might catch your first glimpse of Everest itself before arriving in Namche.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • A rest day, but that doesn’t mean doing nothing. To aid acclimatisation, we’ll take a gentle hike to the Everest View Hotel or the Sherpa villages of Khumjung and Khunde. In the afternoon, explore the vibrant streets of Namche. Visit the museum, sip coffee in a bakery, or pick up last-minute gear. This acclimatisation day is key to preparing your body for the days ahead.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • The trail contours around the hillsides with stunning views of Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse before descending to the riverside at Phungi Thanga. After a well-earned lunch, we make a slow but steady ascent to Tengboche — home to the region’s most important monastery. If timings allow, we’ll witness a Buddhist chanting ceremony as the sun sets behind the Himalayas.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • After descending through rhododendron forests, we pass through Pangboche, the highest permanent settlement in the valley. The views of Amadablam here are unforgettable. We continue climbing into the alpine zone, arriving in Dingboche- a village surrounded by fields of barley and enclosed by protective stone walls.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Today’s motto: climb high, sleep low. We hike to Nagarjun Peak, a tough but rewarding ridge offering spectacular views over the Khumbu valley. This acclimatisation hike boosts your body’s ability to adapt to altitude, giving you the best chance of success in the days ahead. We return to Dingboche for a relaxing afternoon and gear check.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • We climb gradually toward Dughla, where we pause for tea and snacks before ascending the ridge past the memorials to climbers lost on Everest. It’s a sobering and powerful place. Continuing through glacial terrain, we arrive in the high settlement of Lobuche, surrounded by rugged peaks.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • A huge day. We set off early for Gorakshep, then drop our packs and continue along the moraine to Everest Base Camp. This rocky amphitheatre of tents, prayer flags and sheer altitude is awe-inspiring. After soaking it all in and taking your victory shots, we return to Gorakshep for a well-earned rest.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • We start pre-dawn to summit Kalapatthar, one of the finest view points in the Himalayas. As the sun rises over Everest and neighbouring giants, you’ll witness a panorama few ever see. After breakfast back at Gorakshep, we descend to the quieter village of Dzongla, the gateway to tomorrow’s high pass.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • An early start to cross the Cho La Pass — a spectacular and challenging ascent involving snow and glacier crossings. The views from the top are immense, with mountains in every direction. Descending carefully over rocky terrain, we reach Thangnak, a small village tucked beneath the peaks.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • We cross the massive Ngozumpa Glacier — the largest in Nepal — to reach the turquoise lakes of Gokyo. This magical village sits beside one of the most serene mountain lakes on Earth. It’s a peaceful place to rest, reflect, and prepare for tomorrow’s viewpoint climb.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Another pre-sunrise climb — this time to Gokyo Ri, which offers even more expansive views than Kalapatthar. You’ll see Everest, Makalu and Cho Oyu standing proud in the morning light. After breakfast, we begin the long but satisfying descent to the oxygen-rich air of Dole.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • The trail winds down through rhododendron and birch forests, passing yak pastures and traditional villages. After rejoining the main Everest trail at Mong La, we drop into familiar terrain and return to the vibrant town of Namche for one final night in the heart of Sherpa country.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Our final trekking day follows the Dudh Kosi River down to Lukla. We’ll take a moment to reflect on everything we’ve seen and done, and celebrate with your guide and porters over a farewell meal. You’ve just completed one of the greatest trekking circuits in the world.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • We take an early morning flight out of Lukla, returning to the lowlands and making the scenic drive back to Kathmandu. You’ll arrive at your hotel with the afternoon free to relax, grab a shower, or explore the city one last time.

    Meals Included: Breakfast

  • This day is held in reserve in case of weather delays or altitude issues earlier in the trip. If not needed, you’ll enjoy a complimentary half-day cultural tour of Kathmandu’s World Heritage sites including Boudhanath or Swayambhunath Stupa.

    Meals Included: Breakfast

  • All good things come to an end. After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight home, tired, proud, and with memories to last a lifetime.
