What’s Included in Our Adventure Packages? And What’s Not?

Booking a big adventure, whether it’s Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, Toubkal or the Inca Trail, can feel like buying an airline ticket these days. You think you’re getting one thing… but the fine print tells another story.

That’s why we believe in full transparency. No hidden extras. No surprises on the trail. Just clear expectations and great value.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s always included in our trips, what isn’t, and why that matters.

What’s Always Included (Because It Should Be)

When you book with Ultimate Adventure Travel, we make sure the core experience is covered, no nonsense, no cut corners.

Accommodation

Whether it’s tents on Kilimanjaro, tea houses in Nepal, mountain refuges in Morocco, or lodges in Peru, your sleeping arrangements are sorted, clean, and comfortable.

All Meals on the Trek

We fuel your body with hot, hearty meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on all trekking days. In many places, you’ll be surprised how good trail food can be.

Group Equipment

High-quality tents, mats, cooking gear, mess tents, all provided. We also bring our own portable water filtration and sanitation setups where needed.

Guides, Porters, and Support Crew

Experienced, trained, and fairly paid local teams. We ensure safe guide-to-client ratios and always travel with altitude-aware leaders.

Airport Transfers (Group Days)

We’ll pick you up and drop you off at the airport for a fixed fee should you require. nor scrambling for taxis

National Park Fees & Permits

Unlike some operators who hide these costs, we include all entrance fees and trekking permits in your package price.

Pre-Trip Support

From gear advice to training plans, we’re with you from day one. You’ll receive checklists, calls, and WhatsApp support as well as our Ultimate Travel App containing your itinerary and everything else in one place

What’s Not Included (and Why)

We believe in keeping the trip price fair, which means there are a few personal costs you’ll need to handle directly.

International Flights

Airfare is variable based on where you're flying from and when. We’re happy to advise on the best routes and timing.

Travel Insurance

This is essential. Make sure it covers high-altitude trekking, cancellation, and evacuation.

Personal Trekking Gear

You’ll need your own boots, clothing, and a sleeping bag (unless you rent from us). We provide detailed gear lists to guide you.

Tips for Local Staff

Tipping is standard and important, it goes directly to the team that supports you on the mountain. We’ll provide a tipping guide for each region.

Extra Snacks & Drinks

On some routes, you’ll pass places where you can buy extras, coffee, chocolate, and sodas. These aren’t included, but are fun to budget for.

Vaccinations, Visas, and Entry Fees

These vary by country and passport. We’ll help you figure out what you need in advance.

Why Transparency Matters

We’ve seen too many people arrive expecting one thing and getting another. Or worse, they book a cheaper trip, only to pay more in the end due to “hidden costs.”

That’s not how we work.

You’ll know exactly what you’re getting when you book, and if anything’s optional, we’ll tell you upfront.

Adventure is unpredictable. Pricing shouldn’t be.

And if you’re still not sure, book in a free discovery call and have any questions answered
